At no point in time has man walked around naked! Even way back when cave men were roaming the land I can imagine they still covered their private parts (probably to stop them being bitten off by wild beasts!) to preserve some dignity and mystery with the ‘cave ladies’.
Times have obviously changed since the cave man’s original loin cloth! Throughout the centuries man has followed the fashion of the time, from tunics to trousers, fashion has always played an important part in a man’s identity, a Lord would never have been caught dead in the same attire as a peasant, similarly a peasant wouldn’t like to stand out from the crowd in something totally untoward.
These days we accept that men wear certain clothing; young men wear tracksuits, business men wear suits, the latest trend in footwear is plimsolls and jeans have been the norm for men’s fashion for decades. We’ve seen men’s fashion trends evolve over the decades, with very distinct styles, now we’re in 2010 the wonder of the latest fashion is that everything goes! You can combine a shirt tie and smart jacket with a pair of jeans and trainers, or wear vintage clothing from a charity shop and still be trendy, unheard of years ago!
The one constant that remains, through all styles of men’s clothing, from your ‘chav’ look, to business dress, men use clothing to represent what they would like to portray their selves to be, and no matter what your style, you can be sure that every man will judge himself and his counterpart by the designer labels on their backs!
Men’s designer clothing never used to be a big issue, clothes were used for practical purposes, like keeping warm in winter, protecting yourself in battle! Now there is a men’s designer clothing brand for every budget, style and age! Men use designer clothing to dress to impress, not a million miles away from the cave man wearing his loin cloth!
You can find a massive variety of men’s designer clothing brands at The Menswear Site, who cater for all budgets, styles and ages, because we know how important it is for men to be well dressed and how important designer menswear is these days! From Addidas Orginals to Diesel, from Armani to Lacoste, there’s a men’s designer clothing brand for every man out there! Check out the website today www.themenswearsite.com.

I agree with the fact that people use their clothes as a sign of social status and to portray themselves as better if they have more expensive clothes on, which is their choice. Also it is amazing how people can wear whatever they want and still be trendy these days, it makes everyone look unique to me.
